First time ever we see pink Lancia: we believed so far that only Cadillac’s could benefit from such treatment.
The seller says the he have acquired this car from a long term ownership in Indiana and that the car still bears its original plates from 1959. It is also said that the engine turns freely as the car run last time two years ago: that’s hard to believ how it could do it, watching its overall conditions.
The curious pink paint is of course a funny job of later years, probably made during the psychedelic seventies, but it’s easy to spot a red paint on the doors hinges: probably even that red is not the original color as these cars often weared dark or grey shades. Apart from these considerations, there is few on this car which doesn’t need a full restoration: in this moment that could bring your account in a huge loss, condidering that with 25-30k you can find very good cars. However, if you like pink you can find it for sale here in Daytona Beach, FL, with bidding at $2,000 and reserve not met.
Seems, that the original red paint was bleached by the sun and appears to be ‘pink’.
