Let’s continue with what has now begun as “Alfa Week” (and I think nobody has been sorry for this) with this 1750 GTV in color “Yellow Ocra” (Ocher Yellow), titled as 1970, but in fact is a ’69.
This is probably the most beautiful color of the period between the decades of 1960 and 1970, and in fact the Alfa coupes of this period and this color are always very sought after. Clearly the paint on this car is now gone but in any case it is a car to be restored completely, including painting.
This GTV is a export model, bought by actor Darren McGavin while he was in Germany for a shooting: he then returned to California and brought the car with him, however he drove it a little (lack of air conditioning?) and then parked it and no longer used it. The car certainly needs a lot of care but, as experience teaches us, the important thing is that all the parts are in place, and on this point the car is ok, especially for what concerns the interior that the original one: the rest of the restoration is “business as usual”. Find it for sale here in Anaheim, CA, with a buy-it-now price of $17,500.
