Mr. Rapley confirms his skills in finding Zagato cars. What we have here is a double sale: a 750 Double Bubble and a (stock) Fiat 600 Multipla.
The Zagato needs everything: no engine or gearbox (even if the seller provides them apart, and even more than one), floors have to be rebuilt and, substantially, a lot of work to perform everywhere. Instruments are in their place and that’s a good thing: they’re extremely expensive to purchase. This is the typical “only the brave” project but a double bubble is always worthy a restoration.
The Multipla looks like it has been yet sentenced to death: rust is everywhere and very few of this car could be saved. However, we suppose that the seller knows it well, so you basically are bidding on the Zagato alone. Find them for sale here in Bethel, CT, with bidding just under $15,000 and reserve not met.
