Earthquaked: 1969 Ford Mustang 428 CJ Sportsroof

This is a 1969 Ford Mustang Sportsroof “R Code” with a 428 Cobrajet big block engine and a C6 automatic transmission. The car has 13,600 original miles and is in excellent condition, with all the numbers matching.

The seller says that the car runs and drives great, but he also notes that it may need a few minor repairs, such as a radiator hose with a few pinholes and a leaking line to the brake sensor. This is a California built Mustang and is a 1 of 1 with a 3.50 traction lock and 1 of 3 with high back seats, according to the Marti report provided by the seller. The car’s interior is in excellent condition, and it comes with all the original books, manuals, and black plates.

It also comes with the original baby pink slip, which is a testament to the car’s history and authenticity. The car has no rust anywhere, and the seller claims that no rust has ever been repaired. The peculiarity is a dent on the passenger side door: the seller says it was caused by a motorbike parked in the garage next to it which, during the 1994 Northridge earthquake, fell leaning on the side of the car. Usually we don’t publish automatic Mustang, but if this is as original as the saller states, it’s almost a miracle. Find it for sale at $71,000 here in Woodland Hills, CA.
