We don’t know who came up with the idea to build this replica, but it is clear that this was a lot of work by everyone involved in the project.
In fact, it is not a kit-car but, according to what little said by the seller, a car built from scratch starting from a tubular frame which, at the rear, envelops a flat six-cylinder Porsche engine, coupled to a gearbox five-speed, both from a 911.
The bodywork, although the seller does not mention it, is most likely made of fiberglass (which would be consistent with the specifications of the original car). The cabin is stripped down to the bare essentials (for racing, not road driving) and we’re sure that, in the right context, this should be a very fun car to drive.
