Pininfarina built almost 100 of these coupes, so not as few as you might imagine (in relative terms). In absolute terms this is an absolute rarity.
By the way, few knows that Pininfarina built an handful of a cabriolet version of this model but, as far as we know, all of them have disappeared many years ago and there is no trace of any survivor. Back on this particular car, this was built in 1954 so it is one of the very first made, with the small rear screen.
Apart from the tallight, clearly replaced after the 1959, the car looks correct in many ways: correct wheels, trims, interiors. No photos of the engine but it is easy to know if this is a matching numbers car as the engine number is stamped on the tag inside the engine bay. The price? It’s not the one advertised: the seller says to make him offers. Find it for sale here in Roma, Italy.
Cross flags badge is not correct: Battista Farina changed his family name in Pininfarina only in 1962, so left navy flag is correct, “F” for Fiat, but right flag should be another “F” for Farina, not a “P” for Pininfarina. By the way it’s not still clear since when the “P” flag was officially adopted, no doubt after 1962.
