One family rig: 1958 Lancia Appia Cassonato

It hasn’t been long (about a month) since we last released a similar vehicle, but to be honest we don’t mind repeating ourselves as this one seems in better condition than the first one.

Apart from the rarity of the vehicle, obviously, with regard to this Appia it is worth pointing out that – according to the seller – this specimen has belonged to the same family since new and has always been stored indoors so rust is basically absent if some traces on the hinges of the sides of the bed are excluded. This is great news.

After that the engine: the seller says it was professionally rebuilt in 2016 and never refitted in the car. There are no photos of the interior (other than one of the steering wheel-instrument panel area) showing that the interior is as original as the rest of the car: in essence, it could be a fun project. Find it for sale at €12,000 (today $13,500) here in Modena, Italy.
