The interim series includes the cars with some features coming from the first series like the dashboard, interiors and engine, other things come from the later series like the taillights and the front end.
This is said to be a matching numbers car owned by an Alfa collector who had other Veloces in the past: he performed a good quality rotisserie restoration on the body, in the meantime the original engine has been rebuilt prior to restoration.
We don’t actually understand why the car has been repainted with a medium grey shade: the email from Marco Fazio says that this car was born red; ok, maybe the owner was not a “red” enthusiast but we believe that if you have to face up to a full restoration then you might as well bring the car back to the original specifications. Anyway, the car is for sale here in Fort Lauderdale, FL, with bidding at $21,100 and reserve not met.
not a bad shade of grey (pun intended), even though all this grigio is better suiting a Lancia.
