Shifting gears/2: 1968 Ford Mustang GT390 Fastback

Ok, we know that this Mustang was not made in the same year of the one driven by Frank Bullitt but, on the other side, it’s a fastback with a manual gearbox and a 390 engine.

It’s also painted in red, which s not common on this model but we think that this color fits well the body of this pony car even though we’d prefer contrasting color interiors: on this car they’re red as well.

The seller says nothing about this car but that it has a Marti Report which – we emphasize this for the uninitiated – a paper from Marti Auto Works which reports the production data of your Ford; that means probably that the car is correct in every way, and that would be great, given the asking price which leaves us puzzled but in the end a telephone call is cheap. Find it for sale at $22,500 here in Los Angeles, CA.
