Here it is again with a price drop to €15,000 (today $16,600)
That’s the first time we see for sale an Appia convertibile in this pale blue shade: actually this car has also a blue interior and soft top. Usually it’s easier to find these cars in white red or grey so this seems a nice project.
The seller says that’s the rust on this car is just superficial and that the overall body is solid and straight: he says that the doors have perfect gaps and that the car has never been crashed or repainted: the actual paint is the original one. Interiors look quite complete and original.
Other than that, the car comes with the original jack and tools, hardtop and user manual. All these things are a very nice integration to every restoration project; however the car doesn’t run since 1982 so probably the engine is stuck but, as long as this car should be dismantled bolt by bolt, that shouldn’t be a major issue for the new owner. Find it for sale at €18,000 (today $20,000) here in Bari, Italy.
