No papers, no engine, no build year: these are the first things to deal with if you are going to buy this car which needs much more than an engine and a transmission.
Indeed the “1966” put in the title is just a guess: the seller didn’t tell about it nor we could know it without, at least, knowing the chassis number which hasn’t been disclosed in the auction description. The car doesn’t come with the original engine but the seller says that he will give to the new owner a single carburetor engine and a transmission.
Of course the lack of the original engine and transmission is just one of the big issues of this car; while the seller says that he could give bumpers, instruments, fuel tank, seats, lights etc. in the meantime he suggests to assume the worst scenario before deciding to purchase the car: we agree with him but a bit less with the asking price.
