That’s not actually usual to find a car with such ourageous style in a paddock but actually Lancia built also a prototype racer based on this strange Zagato creation so, if you know some italian cars history, you won’t be astonished to see on of these around a track.
This particular car (1 0f 25 RHD) is said to have been converted to race specifications (according to FIA specs) in the late nineties, raced for few years and then stopped until 2005 when its race career had a stop. Then the car (probably after after being found by the actual owner), refurbished and brought to the track again.
The seller says that the car comes with some spares: a set of race tires, a spare 2L engine and the original glasses (those actually installed should be made in Lexan in order to match the race regulations). We would have liked to watch some interior photos but we guess that the only area being still original is the dashboard. Find it for sale at £24,950 (today $35,500) here in Glossop, UK.
