Although it looks like one of the many Giulietta Spider that you see around, this is a Veloce and it is also the swb version, so it is rarer than you imagine.
The most “precious” of this series is that of 1957 as it seems, at least by consulting Fusi’s book, that in the first year of production only 35 were built, we do not know how many were produced in 1958 (the year of production of this particular car) but certainly the circulating examples are few, very few.
The seller says the car is definitely ok, this is not a concours car as he says the bodywork is not perfect, however he also says a lot of work has been done recently, the car it has no leaks, the story has been known since 1959 and that it still has its expensive Weber DCO3 carburettors in their place. Not bad when you consider the asking price. Find it for sale at €69,900 (today $71,000) here in Flines-lès-Mortagne, France.
I wrote twice to the owner via the ad I saw asking for information to add the car to the Spider Veloce register. No response. Perhaps the new owner would be kind enough to share?
