Kremer dynasty: 1982 Porsche 911-935 SC Cabriolet by DP Motorsport

DP Motorsport is not a famous brand outside the circle of Porsche enthusiasts, yet it played an important role, especially in racing in the 70s and 80s.

It is in fact behind the creations of the bodyworks of the most famous Porsche 935s that Kremer and Porsche have brought to the circuits all over the world, making them winning cars as well as cars with shapes that have now become iconic: in this regard we recommend an interesting reading on Petrolicious which tells a visit to their workshop (still operational).

This car in particular is defined as a “barn find”, original in all its parts and is said to be a demo car imported into the United States, perhaps it is for this reason that it is not one of those equipped with a turbo engine as the 935 tradition would like. It is in fact a SC with the typical DP bodywork: slant nose, wider rear wings and rear hood with larger wing, plus other details such as the embossed logo on the door sills. The car looks in good condition even if the interior is “tired” and the seats are probably to be redone, however it remains a very interesting and rare specimen. Find it for sale at $59,000 here in Danville, CA.
