The baby blue one: 1949 Fiat 1100 “Derby” by Bertone

Enthusiasts like us know very well what it feels like to see a very rare car locked up in a dark and messy garage: in our opinion, you never get used to it.

And the strange thing is that to feel that feeling you don’t even need to be on the spot in person, a few photos are enough (even if yes, we admit it, it’s not overwhelming like the real thing). The photos in this case are of a rare 1100 Derby by Bertone, this is the third that we publish and, frankly, we don’t think there are many others left around.

The red one published six years ago was very beautiful, but this does not seem to be outdone: it seems in fact very complete with all the details (there are still the steel covers between the bodywork and the front bumper, as well as the black Roma plate) and in good condition. Unfortunately the seller does not add anything else: the price is not declared either, what you see is a random number but the seller says that he will disclose the price after seeing the car. Find it for sale here in Lariano, Italy.
