There are not a few 356 Speedsters around, in any condition, but very few still have the original hardtop which, by the way, has a beautiful design.
In fact, I don’t like spiders with the hardtop because to me it “kills” the character of a spider (and very often makes it uglier) however, as with all the rules, there are also exceptions: the hardtop on this car makes the appearance much more “killer” than it is with the simple hood raised. Obviously it is an opinion, and many of you know what is said about opinions.
This car in particular besides having the original hardtop (which alone is worth several thousand dollars) is also a matching numbers car: ok, there is a great job of restoration to do but the car is practically complete, with the engine original and painted in an iconic red: what more do you need?
