It is actually the first time we see a 2000 Spider with an incorrect Alfa Romeo engine: often an American V8 was installed.
This one instead has an Alfa engine probably dating back to the ’60s: suppose it is at least a 1600 cc as a 1300 c.c. on a body like the 2000 Spider it would be extremely undersized. In any case, regardless of the small or large displacement, the engine must be replaced with a correct one.
The rest of the car, on the other hand, seems to have remained what it once was: obviously the past years have left their mark on a car that needs a complete restoration; as is tradition there is rust on the underbody and many areas of the floors need to be replaced, the gearbox is missing but in return the entire top is still installed and the interior is 90% complete.
