You will certainly have noticed that we never miss the chance to publish a hearse, especially if it was built until the 70s.
The reason is simple: apart from the “unpleasant” destination of the vehicle itself, the fact remains that often these cars were real masterpieces of bodywork, often crafted by great builders for whom – obviously – what mattered was the order in itself, certainly not the reason for it.
This hearse in particular was built on a Fiat base, probably of a 1100 T model van, and unlike most of its peers, it was built with a double cab and four doors: this is the first time we have seen a similar constructive solution on one of these vehicles. This van looks globally sound and complete, has a beautiful custom-built grille; we note that perhaps some ornaments are missing inside the bed but, as often happens with this type of vehicles, overall it appears to be in very good condition. Find it for sale at €40,000 (today $44,000) here in Roccavivara, Italy.
