Just a few days ago we published an article on three Apollos that will be auctioned next August, but this one (chassis #1060) is not in concours conditions and is for sale.
The seller says that the engine is the original Buick 300 cubic inch, 250 HP, 330 lbs of torque, it turns but it hasn’t yet rebuilt. The transmission is the original 4 spd, T-10 which has been checked out and is in excellent condition as well as the glasses which are in excellent shape.
In excellent condition there is also the bodywork that looks like a car that has never suffered accidents; the original red paint – although now almost completely gone – is still in place, while the hundreds of parts disassembled and scattered around are not in place, but it would be fun to put them back together. Find it for sale at $82,900 here in Grant Pass, OR.
