This OT 1000 is indeed dry as, the seller says, it came out from some storage in Nevada and it’s actually in exceptional dry conditions for a fifty years old car.
The real point about these cars is, as usual, the authenticity: they are commonly easy to fake cars as they we based on the Fiat 850 chassis (and body, with some little change) and sometimes also the experts (very few indeed) could meet some difficulties to understand if the car is the real thing.
However, we’re not saying at all that this is a fake Abarth, we just suggest to do a proper inspection before moving the first step. Whatever it is, the car looks very solid, with a nice paint and all the parts in place. Even if it was just a recreation, the price would be interesting anyway.
