Open air cams: 1958 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider

ScreenShot001This two-tone Giulietta Spider is still a Type 750 even if it looks like having a long wheel base.

ScreenShot002However, this is quite the kind of project we like: basically it’s a complete car which probably has seen the open road for the last time about fourty years ago: the last license sticker on the plate is marked “1971”.

ScreenShot003The biggest issue about this car is clearly the front fender (passenger side) which has been probably taken from a donor car and then badly welded: it absolutely needs to be replaced as the job has been done by someone who clearly didn’t know exactly what he was doing. The rest of the car looks quite solid: this car doesn’t look like a piece of rust hold together with a tape. The engine looks original but it misses the valve cover: a minor issue. Last but not least, the soft top frame is in its place: a very good news for the future owner (and restorer). Find it for sale at $24,750 here in Los Angeles, CA.
