The 2600 Coupé is one of the most underrated Alfa of the sixties, maybe because it never had the sporty appeal of its smaller type 105 cousins, but it doesn’t mean it has not charisma.

And, moreover, this is the only alfa after the 6C series that is capable of producing a fantastic sound from its six-inline engine and three double throat Solex: such engine was not stretched much by the factory as it was intended to a GT car, but some of these engine have been tuned in the past reaching quite easily a peak power of 200 hp.

This particular car is in the hand of the seller since many years and it was sold new in the Netherlands: the scanned picture portrays the car at Assen in mid ’80s and, basically, it looks unchanged since then.
