Believe it or not, nowadays you can still see barn finds like this one which, indeed, is a rare B24S which has been stored many years.
This car (chassis B24S-1612) needs not only cosmetics but to be disassembled in pieces and then fully restored. The seller says that there is rust under the sills (as usual) but, on the other side, this car has its original hardtop and it has been in the same family during the last 51 years.
The seller says also that the interiors are original; that could be true for the dashboard and door panels, for sure the original seats didn’t have the headrests: they look like some seats taken from a laste ’60’s-early ’70’s Alfa put inside that cockpit. Taillights too are not original. However, these are details: the “meat” is there. Find it for sale at $295,000 here in Astoria, NY.
Ugly as they are those tail lights are original to any of the later convertibles (or Coupes) produced for the American market.
