Sleeping bialbero: 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce

It has been resting for many years, but hasn’t lost its charm yet, maybe it’s time someone put it back on the road.

This Giulietta Sprint Veloce has belonged to the same owner for 20 years but is said to have been taken off the road in 1977: on the one hand this is negative as every part of the car will need to be fixed, on the other such a long rest indoors also means that, most likely, every part of the car remained original and unmolested.

Although belonging to the 101 series, and therefore not as “precious” as its older 750 sister, there aren’t many around and it is now rare to find one in this condition. The seller says that this is a matching numbers car, that it is strictly original and has never had an accident and finally that all typical Veloce equipment is present. Find it for sale at €40,000 (today $43,700) here in Avignon, France.

  1. I can’t log in as I do not have a French phone number which is probably going to frazzle some potential buyers. Looks like another rare Alfa for the Sprint Veloce Register if I could get some numbers.
