Green over gold: 1967 Mustang 289 Fastback

This Mustang looks like a car that has been for 50 under a turned on hair dryer, but that’s not necessarily a negative point.

The seller says that he bought the car from its first owner who, according to the Marti Report, has a unique combination of colors and options: factory air conditioning (not working), power steering, console, rear grill, GT dashboard package, deluxe interior, rare deluxe steering wheel, original carpet, factory styled steel wheels, originally lime gold, fold down rear seat, factory tinted windows. Automatic with a matching numbers 289 ci engine under the hood.

The car certainly needs some work such as, in fact, the arrangement of the air conditioning and the refurbishment of the interiors where the vinyl of which the seats are made has given up after more than five decades, however the seller says that the system braking, radiator and carburetor have been overhauled so if you want the car can also be driven as it is. Find it for sale at $28,000 here in El Cajon, CA.
