We do not know how many Alpina C1 2.3 have been built, but we imagine few, very few. We have no official data as some sources say 35 specimens, others says 100 and so on: if anyone knows something certain, share it as well.
What is certain is that, regardless of how many have been built, it is really rare to find one for sale, especially painted in this red color that can also be strange on a BMW sedan, however it makes it very special and very 80s.
2300 cc, six cylinders in line, 170 bhp are numbers that today no longer impress anyone, but in 1980 they were serious stuff and certainly more than enough to have fun since the car weighs 1,200 kilos; this car in particular has been completely restored and, in fact, it seems to have just come out of the dealer: at least in the picture it is perfect both from above and from below, there is little to say. Find it for sale at €58,000 (today $65,000) here in Altavilla Vicentina, Italy.
