“Home” stands for Italy, of course, since it is very strange to see a rare Fiat 1100 ES in the United States, as the number of cars produced is really small.
We do not believe that this car was sold new in the United States, it probably arrived years later as a used car, in fact the seller says that the car was purchased to be used on the track, and in fact it has no title but there is a positive side: although disassembled it seems quite complete.
In fact, although of poor quality, there are photos of the dashboard that show the presence of the original instruments and the trims: these are the most difficult components to find in case they are missing. For the rest, the seller says that the metal work was done and that the engine, although not original, is equipped with a kit for twin carburetors (and related air filters). Find it for sale here in Long Beach, CA, with a starting bid of $55,000.
