Plenty of rust: 1959 Abarth 750 Spyder by Allemano

The seller of this Abarth 750 Spyder, built almost 60 years ago by Allemano, leaves no room for interpretation: the car is plenty of rust.

Obviously he’s speaking about the frame as the body (partly sawed in the front) is made of aluminum, and so the rust is not a problem. What is instead a problem concerns the missing parts: basically everything, and this is not good at all.

The seller says that everything that is not visible in the picture is missing: “what you see is what you get”. We believe that the only really positive thing is the presence of the original steering wheel which, on the market, is worth a lot of money. For the rest it all depends on the price at which this car can be snatched from the seller. Find it for sale at $14,500 here in Ojai, CA.

  1. Hi, thanks for featuring my car. Yes its rough and incomplete, but its a great starting point. I have lots more information available if someone is interested – and can help source everything missing as I have owned multiple 750-based Abarths. And, yes, maybe there is some flexibility in the price…
