This Appia Berlina has the same color of an american whisky but it’s dry like a scottish one: whatever it is lime, don’t even think to restore it.
First of all because doing a proper restoration will cost you twenty times the asking price, so that means that at he end of the journey you will be financially upide down; second because, somehow, it will be a shame to restore it. The car looks indeed pretty original even though time has taken its toll on it.
What would be interesting, on th eother side, s to make this car run: of course there is an engine which must be rebuilt along with all the mechanical components ncluding brakes, transmission, fuel lines etc, then the car should be driven as is: you will not enter at Pebble Beach but for sure it will be a great topic of discussion at your local classic cars meeting. Find it for sale at $2,700 here in Burbank, CA.
