This 3rd series Lancia Appia Berlina slept for many years in a east coast garage before being recently unhearted: it has just been cleaned but nothing more than that.
The seller says that, prior to 1970, the car belinged to a couple of guys living in Texas, then, in 1980, the car was sold to a New York collector who stored the car until now: basically the car has a well known history but, most of all, is basically a preserved specimen.
After being discovered, the car has been cleaned and now it shows the original paint which is faded but has a nice patina: the seller says also that the car has neve been seriously damaged but the engine doesn’t turn: we believe that with a bit of work this car will easily go back to life. Interiors are mostly origial even though the rear bench have been rehupolstered or replaced, the engine bay loks clean and original.
