Back in the late fifties, the Flaminia was the top-class italian sedan that money could buy: it was technically superior to any contemporay Ferrari, Maserati or Alfa Romeo and so it was the first choice of whealthy family men.

Of course the collectors car market doesn’t give a premium to four door cars and so this model is now less valuable than the two door version, it is anyway a superb piece of engineering and attention to details. This particular car was born green but the paint didn’t handle well the passing of time.

The good with this car is that it seems extremely solid: it is indeed said to have been a long-time resident of southern California and so all the “delicate” parts are rustless and the panel have a nice fitting.
