Unusual stuff: 1958 Porsche 356A T2 Coupé

This 356 (chassis #102100) isn’t indeed what we’re used to see for sale: this car started its life as a 356A Coupé but its evolution has been a little different by its sisters.

The seller is the owner of this car since 1989, an era when you could buy on of these cars for few thousands dollars and then decide what you wanted to do with it, without the quest for authenticity of these days. And actually the seller did what he liked most: flares on the rear wheel arches, Porsche 928 wheels all around and, most of all, a modified 911 SC 3.0 engine on the back: this is just abrief description as the modification done are much more than these.

Also other parts of the body have been modified and the paint job is not a cheap one. Differently from the outside, the interiors are quite completely original with the exception of the rollbar and the Recaro seats; also the front boot has an original aspect. Last but not least, this is a factory sunroof 356. Of course purist will have goosebumps looking at this car but, like it or not, you don’t see one of thse often. Find it for sale here in Middleton, ID, with bidding at $37,500 and reserve not met.
