Lime Rock special: 1958 Abarth 750 Spider by Allemano

This Abarth 750 by Allemano (#474756, Allemano #616) is one of the small family of spiders built by Abarth on the Fiat 600 platform; many were used to race and indeed this car is one of those.

It’s in fact a long time racer: for sure this car has joined most of the competition of the VSCCA during the last two decades, and it is also registered in John de Boer’s Italian Car Registry (de Boer is one of the most expert of italian little cars of the ’40s, ’50s and ’60s all over the world).

This car hasn’t probably its original engine but, on the other side, the seller sells the car with a huge number of spare parts among which there are; 10 cylinder heads, 12 camshafts, Piston sets, Abarth alloy sump, rods, starters, water pumps, transmissions and every other parts enough to built other three cars maybe. Among these parts there are also the original windshield and trims, so this car could be brought back to its original purpose. Find it for sale here in Falls Village, CT, with a buy it now price of $25,000.
