Flooded six: 1966 Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint

What we have realized is that the mightier sister of the GT has always been underrated, but its days of glory are coming soon.

We believe that the main reason because this car had not the same appeciation of the 105 coupé series its mostly because this car have never had that “sporty” appeal: this was a proper GT car built for travelling long distances along with the sound of the six-inline engine: it is bigger and heavier than a GT but it’s beautiful in the same way.

This particular car is from 1966 (we understand that from the black plate), the seller says that it was flooded in 1976 and never driven since; of course it was always stored in an enclosed space otherwise it should have been in much worse condition now. So it’s a “full project” but, given the low asking price and the beautiful black/red color combo, it could be worth the effort. Find it for sale at €10,500 (today $12,000) here in Milano, Italy.
