It is true what the seller of this Giulietta Sprint says: the prices of these cars are on the rise (actually they have been for years, a slow but inexorable rise), however it depends a lot on the car. While it is true that prices are on the rise, it is also true that the… Read More On the rise: 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint
It is said that there is a first time for everything, and in our case this is the first time, despite more than 2000 published posts, that we publish an Alfa Romeo Alfasud. The Alfasud can in fact be considered an “anomaly” in the Alfa Romeo world, at least compared to what the Portello factory… Read More Time capsule: 1974 Alfa Romeo Alfasud 1.2
Let’s face it: it is an unsafe car, it does not brake very well, it has an engine that produces more or less the same power as a Fiat Panda, the winter heating is poor as well as the waterproof seal of the hood and, finally, it is very expensive. But there is also a… Read More Freedom of choice: 1957 Porsche 356A Speedster
Bigger or faster are not positive characteristics in themselves, but must always be contextualized. In this particular context, the two aforementioned factors don’t matter as much. It is the second time that we see an A12 set up as a ladder truck, but the first time the vehicle was in not very beautiful condition while this is in excellent condition. This truck was set up by the company Man-Maniero (which is the first time we hear about) on behalf of the… Read More Working twin cam: 1969 Alfa Romeo A12 ladder by Man-Maniero
In recent years, Alfa Romeo collecting has increasingly turned towards “limited editions” such as, in the case of the 750 and 101 series, the Spider Veloce. But you know what? It depends on what you do with it. I mean that in the regular use of these cars, or at cruising speeds to enjoy a… Read More Red outside: 1963 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider
The light work vehicles produced 50 or 60 years ago in Italy were not exclusive to Fiat, but also to the most refined Lancia. They too helped Italy in the post-war economic recovery. In our case, these are two installations carried out on a common platform: that of the Lancia Ardea, a medium-high class sedan… Read More Two trucks: 1952 Lancia Ardea 800 van and pickup
If, at the end of the 1960s, you had been Italian twenties, not necessarily rich, but at least wealthy, you probably would have asked your father for a car like this. And in fact the target of this car was precisely the kids who could afford a car with a sporty but not as expensive… Read More Red toy: 1969 Francis Lombardi Grand Prix
