We have always liked Mustangs, as you well know, but generally we only released those produced from 1966 to 1970 (and only if Fastback or Sportsroof), we never released one of a subsequent series.
Yet, perhaps due to the maturing tastes or simply because the former are becoming unapproachable from a price point of view, we are starting to look with interest even those built from 1971 to 1973, which have changed a lot both from the aesthetic point of view and from that of the weight: the latter in fact have become more luxury than sports cars, and therefore are “fattened”.
This particular car is said to have only 26,892 miles and, regardless of whether it has been restored or is in original condition, it looks almost new, at least from what can be seen from the photos published in the ad. The color should be “Grabber Lime Green”, and it fits perfectly on this car. Too bad only for the automatic gearbox, but you can’t have everything in life.
