Blue sleeper: 1966 Jaguar E-Type 2+2

This E-type has been stored for ten years and in all this time it has never been covered by a sheet: in theory this is not correct but on the other hand now the car has the classic patina of the barn find.

The car has a beautiful color (Opalescent Silver Blue) and beautiful blue interiors, probably original, but it has two characteristics that fans of this car will not like very much: the first is that it is a 2 + 2 version, so it has one line penalized by the higher roof height, the second (but not least) is that it is equipped with an automatic gearbox.

To tell the truth, we didn’t even know that the automatic transmission was an option for the first series: for us this is an absolute novelty and in fact the abbreviation BW before the chassis number placed on the plate means “Borg Warner”. So, we are not talking about the most desired model of the E series, however, at the end of the day, you can take home a good car at a fair price. Find it for sale at $30,000 here in Henderson, NV.
