Update, 03/26/2018: Here is the car at Jat Leno’s Garage show:

We’ve already published a couple of article about the Appia Lusso, a Vignale coachbuilt Appia, but this is the only one in “barn find” conditions.
Actually in Italy cars are barely stored in barns, most of the time you find these cars laying in some garage for years, and this car seems one of these finds: it has been stored for almost forty years since its last run, probably in the late seventies.
The faded paint, the tired interiors and just few spots of rust tell us that this car has never been abandoned outside; the seller says that he bought this car from the family of the first owner; it is complete and running as almost $4,000 of work have been performed on it. It still has the original black plate so it is actually ready to join some event in the “barn find” class. Find it for sale here in Tarzana, CA, with bidding at $3,500 and reserve not met.
