This 2600 Sprint is speculated to have been tuned by Conrero (does he need to be introduced to anyone?) and it actually wears some Conrero badge.
Of course the doubt is clear: apart from some nice enamel badges which can be bought everywhere, and apart from the Weber six-pack carburetors, is there some further proof that Conrero put his hands on this six cylinder engine? The seller says that the engine has been tuned in 1969 but there isn’t any substantial proof of that.
Of course we’re not sayng that this isn’t te real thing, we’e just saying that if we were going to buy this car, we would need some more elements than a couple of badges ad a set of Weber instead of he original Solex. Anyway, the car looks in nice conditions, no apparent rust and original leather inside. Find it for sale at €49,000 (today $60,000) here in Caltanissetta, Italy.
