Green card: 1961 Italia 2000 by Vignale

And here it is another Italia 2000 for sale: generally it happens once a year, rarely more than that. This is the body #59.

Actuall this car is titled as a 1961 car but, the low number of the body means that this car has been built in 1959 or 1960, however it is quite common for these cars to have been registered months later than when they were built.

This is actuallya swiss car painted in pale green – “Verde Pallido” – which was one of the factory colors so that’s correct: we know very well these cars and we must say that, apart from some little things like the turn switch on the steering column and the metal cover on the lower edge of the door panels, the car looks very correct. Find it for sale at CHF 93,000 (today $96,000) here in Lichtensteig, Switzerland.

Yep, some little errors (including the Vignale badge on front fenders, it is in the wrong position) but overall a nice specimen indeed.
