Heat treatment: 1971 Lamborghini Espada

What remains of this Lamborghini Espada (chassis #8432) doesn’t involve anything related to gearbox and engine: indeed this last one caught fire some years ago and then has been removed from the car which was born painted in silver with a black cockpit.

The fire damaged the engine, of course, the bonnet and the windscreen which probably has been cracked and then removed, while the rest of the car looks in quite fair conditions: the interiors are basically complete and well preserved even if we can’t spot the door panels; the remaining items are not that bad.

The seller has also put down a huge list of parts which will come with the car to the new owner and indeed there are a lot of things, however sourcing a new engine and a proper gearbox will be not easy at all: basically it all depends on how high is set the reserve price: these are valuable cars for sure but very expensive to fix as well. Find it for sale here in Troy, IL, with bidding at $7,000 and reserve not met.
