This 1966 GTV looks a nice car and it is priced more than fairly, so the point is: is it as good as it looks, or it’s just a six footer car?
The good is that the car looks correct about most of its parts: grille, rims, hubcaps, lights and many other bits are right for this model: the engine bay look correct too with the exception of some minor parts like the coil which is not the original Bosch unit; the front bumper looks (but we’re not sure as the photo is not pretty clear) the correct one-piece version and the “heart” has seven bars.
Interiors look pretty original too but the dashboard has not the veneer trim and so it’s not correct; on the other side the steering wheel is the correct one as well as the front seats which have been re-upholstered. Of course the point is: where’s the rust? The seller says that the only rust holes are into the spare wheel well and the car has been inspected on the lift and it has not rust problems: so why no photos of the undercarriage?
