1961 was the first production year of the Flaminia Coupé by Pininfarina: in that year the only available engine was the 2500 c.c. unit fed by a single carburetor.

This particular car, although publicized as a 1966 car, was produced in 1961 (the original black plate can’t lie). There is no description in the ad but it is clear that this coupé has slept for a long time in an enclosed garage. We are not “dust experts” but at least this car didn’t run during the last 20 years (at least).

The car is still painted in dark green (as the seller says, indeed it seems black) with a red leather interior: if true that’s a beautiful color combo, moreover quite unusual on these cars. Dust apart, the car looks still in beautiful original conditions: of course it must be inspected in person but, if it were for us, we would just fix the engine, transmission and brakes and then we’d drive it as is. Find it for sale at €20,000 (today $24,000) here in Milano, Italy.
