After a two years production (1958-1960) and a little more than 2000 cars made, the MG A Twin Cam came out of the production lines, both because the engine used to give much troubles to the owners and for its high selling price.
However, just after the end of the production, the cause of such engine troubles was found and that means that now these cars are much more reliable. This car is said to be a U.S. import, so it’s an lhd car.
The seller says that the bodywork has been professionally done and the engine too has been overhauled, but mated to a not-original gearbox. The car was originally painted in Orient Red which, in out opinion, is much more seductive than the usual Old English White. The seller is British but it says that the car, along with a trailer, could be found in SW of France at £21,500 (today $35,500) or best offer.
