The seller says that this car, which is not an original “G” code, has been built many years ago, before the words “tribute” or “clone” came out. It seems built with taste and respectfully of the original car.
Indeed the seller says that this car has been built with many period racing correct parts: 406 c.i. side drilled block for 4 bolt main bearings, Factory Tri Power, HP cast iron shorty exhaust manifolds,w/exhaust cut/outs. It also has an Holman-Moody camshaft with a proper ID plate. It has also lightened using fiberglass front fenders, a fiberglass “Tear Drop” hood and fiberglass bumpers.
Interiors are mostly original and feature an Hurst shift lever which commands a four speed Top Loader gearbox. We think that this car has a great cost/fun ratio. Find it for sale at $25,500 here in La Verne, CA.
