This is one of the very first coachbuilt cars made on the 1100-103 TV platform, presented in 1953.
Actually the coachbuilder Allemano had to have very clear ideas to think and build a custom-built coupe on a car, the 1100-103, completely different from its predecessor: many of you will have already recognized the characteristic nose, also present on a convertible version built by the same coachbuilder. The seller says that only 4 cars like this were built: we can neither confirm nor deny it.
This car in particular is quite well known: it has toured several events in Italy, including a participation in the 2018 Mille Miglia. It has a ruby red color typical of sports cars of the early 1950s and, to top it off, it still has its original black license plate. The only thing we don’t like is the price, but only because we can’t afford it. Find it for sale at €179,000 (today $178,000) here in Concesio, Italy.
