What we propose today is certainly not “the deal of the century”, but it is such a special car that it deserves to be mentioned.
It is in fact an experiment carried out by the Moretti body shop for some very wealthy customers who were not satisfied with having “just” a Maserati 3500 GT, but wanted something very special not to be confused among the “banal” suioi, rich Danish friends.
The car was indeed delivered new in Denmark but after a road accident the owner decided to hand it over to Moretti to get her a new dress; once the car was finished it was exhibited at the 1966 Geneva Motor Show: the similarities with the ISO Grifo (Mr. Giugiaro, you have something to do with this car?) are evident, especially with the twin headlights and in the shape of the pavilion. At the end of the day, if you want to be noticed in some important elegance competition, this is certainly the car for you. Find it for sale at $400,000 (o.b.o.) here in Danville, CA.
