We didn’t expect to spot a Sprint Speciale not yet restored, but sometimes there are more cars around than how you could imagine.
Actually this is a Giulietta SS (chassis AR120*00693) which clearly hasn’t been ever restored or, at least, never painted: the white is almost flattened and the car has also some rust on right sill, it’s actually impossible to estimate how much rust is on (under) this car from the photo provided by the seller.
Seller who says to be located in the USA but he says that the car is still located in Rome, Italy, and indeed the car still carries the original, five digits black plate from Perugia. He says that although the body is “original” the car will be sold with a redone engine with an embedded warranty up to 30,000 kms (18k miles, more or less): that’s a lot of mileage considering that a car like this is more likely to do 3k miles per year (tops!). Find it for sale at $120,000 here in Rome, Italy.
