This 1st series Espada came from Italy painted in gold, then it became blue. So that’s not as original as before but it still holds the appeal of its extraordinary design sketched by Marcello Gandini at Bertone coachworks.
And, being a first series, it still has the same magnesium rims of its cousin, the Miura, along with some other details. Actually also the engine is the same unit installed into the Miura with the exception of the carburetor pack: there wouldn’t be enough space under the bonnet to accomodate a pack oof downdraft carburetors.
This car is the typical good driver: the seller has wrote a very detailed description of the car, including how the car is inside, outside and how the engine, brakes, gearbox and cooling system work. Actually we would be glad to see such description more often when we spot a car for sale. Basically this car can be enjoyed as is with, maybe, just few touches here and there.
