This Karmann Ghia is one of the few equipped with the vacuum-operated clutch system, called “Autostick”. Unfortunately this car needs much more than a clutch rebuild to run again.
The seller says that it’s not a driveable car (you don’t need much imagination capabilities to understand that) and that it’s a California car so the exterior rust is minimal, however it has some interior rust (needs passenger side floor-pan from a window leak). The top has been replaced 10 years ago and it still looks good; the paint looks good too but a photo could lie. However, there are $1,800 in new parts which will come with the car so the asking price could be not so high. Find it for sale at $7,500 here in Wake Forest, NC.
